Harvest 2019
This year the harvest made us wait until the first days of September, seeing the cold and rainy spring that delayed the budding and the hot and dry summer that slowed down the vegetative vigor of the plants.
But the vineyard gave us an excellent year anyway: we started with the intense colors of Pinot Grigio, continued with the sweet grapes of Manzoni Bianco, up to the maturation of the red berry varieties, Refosco, Cabernet, Merlot and above all our beloved Carmenere, with skins rich in anthocyanins and tannins. The grapes are excellent, with full and healthy berries, the phytosanitary state is ideal, of very high quality, without pressure from fungal attacks.
We believe that the 2019 vintage will offer wines of great body but at the same time capable of expressing elegance and finesse..
