AFTER FEW DAYS FROM ITS BIRTH, OUR “PENSIERO D'AMORE” WINE, WON A GOLD MEDAL AT THE FIRST NATIONAL COMPETITION DEDICATED TO THE INCROCIO MANZONI WINES.
Fifty years after the Professor Luigi Manzoni death, the Enological School of Conegliano has inaugurated an oenological competition dedicated to him:
the "First National Wine Competition of Incrocio Manzoni wines".
Professor Manzoni, an important figure for the school and the wine world, was the first in Italy to start genetic experimentation on vines for the improvement and the creation of new vines that could support the Veneto production already underway in the 1930s.
The aim of the competition is to let you know the best national wine productions of wines produced from the vines obtained from the crossings of professor, as well as to enhance, promote and award quality wine production.
With great pride, our INCROCIO MANZONI 6.0.13 PASSITO 2017 “PENSIERO D’AMORE” (“THOUGHT OF LOVE”) has won the GOLD MEDAL for the category IGT and DOC sweet wines, raisin wines and strong sweet wines.
